might wonna fix the mic

averlice 08/14/2026

wait who is having an account where?

averlice 08/14/2026

yeah Matthew I can hear your eloquence but not your voice.

averlice 08/14/2026

are you talking to me?

averlice 08/14/2026

yeah all I can hear is Matthews device, but not Matthew himself

averlice 08/14/2026

well, I can hear marly obviously

averlice 08/14/2026

o holy shit I can hear something alright

averlice 08/14/2026

yeah I can hear you

averlice 08/14/2026

wait what's wrong with star?

averlice 08/14/2026

how's it going Matthew?

averlice 08/14/2026

wait how'd you get it to do that?

averlice 08/14/2026

yes but how'd you get it to use star for reading messages?

averlice 08/14/2026

I wonder if I can run pubsplash on my poweredge r720

averlice 08/14/2026

it's a server you sussy baka

averlice 08/14/2026

it's a physical Dell server

averlice 08/14/2026

also, you mean on the audiopub thing?

averlice 08/14/2026

sure, I am not sure how to privately relay credentials to you

averlice 08/14/2026

guess that can work. i'll do it from my fedi server on fedi.blindsoft.net

averlice 08/14/2026

alright, snac2, you better send this shit or else i'm gonna fuck you straight up the ass to the point you won't know what a PM is.

averlice 08/14/2026

are you fucking serious?

averlice 08/14/2026

I accidentally closed pubsplash

averlice 08/14/2026

gotcha.
I'll set that up later tonight

averlice 08/14/2026

cool. right now i'm playing with the chat reader to see if I can get star support for it, or is thatj ust the server side

averlice 08/14/2026

almost accidentally painted my tt password in the chat lol

averlice 08/14/2026

good thing I have my own self hosted password generation

averlice 08/14/2026

lol we'd have a singer trying to read the chat?

averlice 08/14/2026

only one way to find out

averlice 08/14/2026

for a moment I thought that referred to ghost as in from the ghost show

averlice 08/14/2026

also what was that one TikTok voice that sang earlier? the marly song I mean

averlice 08/14/2026

can I run the TikTok shit on my star coagulator server?

averlice 08/14/2026

hey Matthew how do I run TikTok voices on my star coagulator?

averlice 08/14/2026

please do, I want to run them.

averlice 08/14/2026

also the star coagulator server is, assuming this won't take a poop if I send links, wss://star.blindsoft.net

averlice 08/14/2026

who are you NVDA Remoting you sussy baka?

averlice 08/14/2026

remind me the tt port again?

averlice 08/14/2026

also I wanted to ask you something regarding star Mac voices. I want to host them, the problem I don't have a MacBook. what MacBook would you recommend I get? I thought of getting the neo because, well, this ieant to be a dedicated star voice host anyway

averlice 08/14/2026

I have WinTalker https://star.blindsoft.net

Open link?

You're about to open an external link:

https://star.blindsoft.net

I have the winTalker voices, which is the best I can do for now

averlice 08/14/2026

lok i'm making the TikTok voices sing weird shit

averlice 08/14/2026

out of curiosity, does TikTok have like an API or some shit

averlice 08/14/2026

you should open source that shit.

averlice 08/14/2026

yours uses websockets, though, so it's better than mine.

averlice 08/14/2026

really my addon was more of an experiment to see if I could run it in star. it was kinda a colab with me, Christopher duffley, and Sam tupy

averlice 08/14/2026

yeah he gave me advice on how to build this shit

averlice 08/14/2026

yeah how much does splashpub take to run? for instence, I have a cloudflare tunnel. however, the r720 is using starlink so I have to use cloudflare tunnel

averlice 08/14/2026

that is much smaller than puretube

averlice 08/14/2026

that's a popular self hosted alternative to YouTube.

averlice 08/14/2026

who are you talking to?

averlice 08/14/2026

I do have stargem, which runs inside of windows.

averlice 08/14/2026

it's a Gemini star provider

averlice 08/14/2026

only one problem: I can't find the fucking URL I setup for it

averlice 08/14/2026

it's on one of my mastodon posts

averlice 08/14/2026

it's somewhere on my files website, which I need to fix

averlice 08/14/2026

I'll try to see you all on teamtalk
